The Process of Preparation - 2 - (21-02-2012)

(Continued)

… God works in us through the process of preparation.

Many examples can be found in Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Joseph and David how they all received a word from God – they had a promise – they had a vision – a purpose – an assignment – a calling … but in all instances it didn’t happen right away. There was a process. It took time, perseverance, diligence, preparation in order for the promise to come to pass.

And maybe God’s given you a word my friend, a promise, a vision, an assignment. He’s called you to do something for Him. Understand that there’s a process of preparation that has to take place in order for that promise to come to pass.

But Don’t be intimidated by it - don’t be impatient with it – or impatient with yourself – Embrace this Process!

For God knows exactly what steps you ought to be taking: where you need to be, what you need to be doing, what you need to be reading/listening to/watching, what friends you supposed to have, what church you supposed to belong to, what you need to be involved in, where you need to be living, studying, working, etc. – He’s got the process all worked out for you, knowing the beginning from the end! … He just needs you to walk in it. (Ephesians 2:10)
