(Continued)
Because we understand that we must be patient with
ourselves, we must also understand that we need to be patient with others.
(this is often more difficult J )
It helps to know that if God is extremely patient with
us and our development, then who are we to be impatient with the growth of
others? (speaking to myself here)
That if we trust God with our lives; being confident
of the fact that He who began a good work in us is faithful to complete it –
then we must have faith to believe that He who began a good work in others is
faithful to complete that as well!
I’ve also come to realize that not everyone walks the
same walk God might be calling us to walk. That God requires more from some
than what He does from others; purely because they’re called to walk in a
greater anointing because of God’s call on their lives. With this been said, we
shouldn’t be so quick to get upset with other believer’s when they don’t feel
as passionately, or act as passionately about certain things, as we do.
That perhaps they don’t sense the urgency to surrender
their lives to God to the extent that you believe God’s called you to.
Understand that they are not you.
Understand that God might be preparing them
differently to the way He’s been preparing you.
Understand that, not only in terms of preparation, but
in terms of their purpose as well; that your purpose might require greater
sacrifices and someone else’s might not. God knows how to deal with each
individual because He knows in what state He needs them to be, in order to do
what He needs them to do.
So let’s be patient with others (this is something God
often reminds me of)
