The Helper - 2

Romans 8:26 says that the Spirit helps in our infirmities/weaknesses – the word infirmities in the Greek means:

Want of strength, weakness, infirmity – 1. (a) of the body, (b) its native weakness and frailty. 2. Feebleness of health or sickness, and of the soul.
3. Want of strength and capacity requisite - (a) to understand a thing, (b) to do things great and glorious, (c) to restrain corrupt desires, (d) to bear trials and troubles.

So the Holy Spirit helps us in all these areas.

Our Helper wants to come to our side; come to our aid; wants to provide help and relief for us – when we’re in want of strength, physically and for our soul’s (mind, will and emotions) – when we want to understand a thing – when we want to restrain from corrupt desires – when we want the strength to bear trials and troubles.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper and desires to helps us in all these things. Let’s not deny Him the opportunity; His right and desire; to do what His character desires Him to do and perform in and through our lives – and that’s to help us.

So let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

2 Corinthians 12:9

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

You have a Helper my friend, His name is the Holy Spirit – and He wants to help you in all you that you do!

Receive His help this day and for all times – in all things – for every circumstance – in every situation you find yourself in – whether good or bad – receive His love and help towards you – Honour Him and He will honour you - He loves you my friend – abide in Him as He abides in you – love Him – and allow Him to do as He wills in and through your life … Rest in His presence. Amen

God loves you
