(Continued)
It’s a new year my friend, and for some of you, you’ve said it was going to be a new start – a fresh start – a new beginning. You said you’re not going to follow the same pattern as last year but rather that this year’s going to be different and better concerning your relationship with God.
My friend – don’t allow anyone or anything to stand between that – do what you need to do – you only have this life time in which to do so … between 70-100 years is the average life span you have … what will you have to show for it?
Every day the train I travel in passes by a graveyard and I often notice all the tombstones – and I think to myself, what will people say about me when I die one day … what will God say about me when my life is over? … don’t allow anyone to hold you back from your purpose and destiny! – don’t allow anything to come between what you know you want with God – don’t allow the distractions and pleasures of this world to sidetrack you or distract you from fulfilling your calling and seeing the promise God has given you come to pass – don’t let intimidation and insecurity rob you of what you know God wants you to have – don’t allow the enemy to lie to you anymore about how you can’t do this or you can’t achieve that – don’t allow negative thoughts of doubt, fear and worry to rob you of your peace that Jesus died for you to have – don’t allow your past to determine your tomorrow – don’t allow your present to dictate to you how your circumstances ought to be, 9 times out of 10 you make those choices …
Arise and stand firm in the predestined Destiny Jesus Christ died for you to walk in and fulfill – Arise and accomplish what God has set out for you – die to self and allow the Holy Spirit to use you as He wants to – Arise above your passions and lusts and allow God to rectify that which needs correction in your life – allow God to be God in your life my friend … allow yourself the opportunity to experience God’s best for your life … give yourself the opportunity to be with Him and spend time with Him … allow yourself the future He died for you to have … Arise and be what God’s called you to be! … Arise … and make time to be with Him.
