When we come to the office to work we don’t need to bring our telephone
with from home, nor a chair, pc, printer, nor do we have to pay for the
electricity –instead, all of this is already provided for by the company …
Everything we need to perform our duties is already there, waiting for us – all
we need to do is show up for work and be faithful and diligent to the task
assigned to us.
Same way when serving God. When God tells you to do
something for Him – He’s not requesting that you bring all your resources
along; all your “connections”; your degrees or diploma’s; not even
“your”strengths or abilities. Instead, He’s already provided everything you’ll
ever need to get the task done … all He needs from you is to show up, and be
faithful and diligent to the task assigned to you.
What task is God requiring of you my
friend? …and what has been your excuse for not applying yourself to that task?
