As
we’ve entered this New Year; many people might have written goals for
themselves; some might have ideas/projects that they’d like to embark on;
others might be faced with major decisions to make concerning their family,
ministry, careers, etc. Whatever it could be – it’s important to
understand that we must consult God in the matter:
The
bible warns us in Proverbs 16:25 that there is a way that
seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death/destruction.
So
especially when it comes to major decisions in life; the Bible says there is a
way/decision that might seem right to us – it might make perfect sense in
the natural to do so, etc. – however, the end thereof is the way of
death/destruction … this is why Proverbs 3:5-6 says that we must trust in the Lord with all our heart, that we
must not lean not on our own understanding; but
that we should acknowledge God in all our ways, that
He may direct our paths.
