Good day
Often when going through difficulties, we first go to others to help; whether it’s family, friends or work colleagues – and then go to God afterward. In the below passage the bible tells us that our help comes from the Lord! Amen!
Psalm 121:1-8
I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in, From this time forth, and even forevermore.
We must know that our God is well able to solve and take care of all things! So why not go to the source of help, Who loves us and gave His very life for us.
Why not turn to God first in your time of need, trouble or difficulty. Let’s go to God first my friend, He loves us and is well able to help us!
And He says in Matthew 7:7-11
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
