Rejoice in the Lord


Good day



I trust you will be encouraged by the below message:

Psalms 13:5
But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. 

Psalms 33:21
For our heart shall rejoice in Him , Because we have trusted in His holy name.

Philippians 4:4 (to 9)
Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice!

Rejoicing in the Lord means to be filled. Been filled with the comfort and knowledge of His will concerning you. It means to meditate and be mindful of His word and covenant promises towards you. It is that state of mind where you just know that everything is going to be okay because in that moment, you know God's got you. It becomes a joyful and cheerful expression of your faith in Him to see/carry you through no matter what. You just know you can trust in Him.

When we choose to rejoice in the Lord, it becomes easier not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 

When we choose to rejoice in the Lord, it becomes easier to meditate on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—to think about such things.

... and once you've rejoiced in the Lord and the "storms" continue to come your way, the verse reminds us again, rejoice! ... when it seems as though nothing has changed in the natural, rejoice! ... when you feel like giving up, again I will say, Rejoice!
