Good day
"Lord forgive us for where we may have felt frustrated, like giving up, anxious, overly concerned and worried ... sometimes about things that are even outside of our control ... help us to keep our eyes focused on You this day, on Your goodness, mercy, power and authority. We are blessed because of our covenant with You, a covenant of peace and love. Today we rest and lay aside/cast every care onto You. The battle is Yours Father. Our job is to trust in You. Thank you for this reminder."
Philippians 4:6-8
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
My friend, my encouragement today is don't be overly concerned about your future, whether it be tomorrow, the day after that, next week, next month ... regardless of the situation you're faced with ... if you need to pray and seek guidance from God, then do so (James 1:5, Isaiah 48:16-18, John 16:13-15)
But be confident of this - the God of your tomorrow is the same God you know and love today, the same God who was with you in your past and has delivered you, come through for you, been by your side, encouraged you, comforted you, strengthened you, answered you! He is the same, yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) ... so know that no matter what tomorrow may bring, your covenant is secure in Him!
Isaiah 54:10
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
The beautiful thing about a covenant is that whomever you're in covenant with - you're in it together!
What's yours in His and what's His is yours.
You're never in it alone!
This means that when you're facing a battle, He's in it with you, fighting alongside or for you!
When you're in need of supplies, He's in it with you, coming to your aid!
His strengths becomes yours
His resources becomes yours
I don't always know what tomorrow may bring, but I know His covenant of peace will not be removed as long as I stay connected to my covenant Partner! ... I must be confident that He's in it with me, always!
Amen
