Good day
Happy new year to you! I trust you're doing well by the grace of God my friend.
I recently recovered from Covid and whilst it was a difficult experience both physically and mentally, I am just grateful to be alive. I'm sure most of us may know of a family member, friend or work colleague who may have passed on as a result of the virus and it is truly a difficult and sad time; and whilst we trust that God bring a swift end to the pandemic, I believe that with everything that's happened, that as Christians we should make the added effort to make contact with others to find out how they're doing and continue to pray for everyone.
It is also a time to encourage others concerning their relationship with God and for them to be assured of that relationship/their salvation. There are opportunities to share the word of God with others in the form of social media (Majority having Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc as well as email or even sms). The reality is that there are so many ways these days to communicate with others and to use the opportunity to share the word of God with people.
God makes no mistake about His identity to the world, who He is and what He believes, so let us follow His example and continue to share the truth and hope we find in His word ... especially at a time like this.
2 Timothy 4:1-5
I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
It is my prayer that God would keep you and your family safe, that you draw your strength from Him and continue to place your hope and trust in His love and goodness. That you may draw closer to God and continue growing in your relationship with Him, and that you also excel in reaching more people with His word and love.
Stay strong in the love of God my friend
