Last week while during praise and worship the Holy Spirit brought up the word purpose; for us to be reminded that we have a purpose and not to underestimate our purpose.
Everything in creation has a purpose and is designed to add value to the overall ecosystem that makes everything tick over, with each specific thing created by God adding value by fulfilling its function. In the same way we have all been created with a purpose and our purpose is for the benefit of all, meaning that when someone doesn't seek to fulfill their purpose it means someone somewhere isn't benefitting; it means some function isn't being fulfilled, leading to a potential breakdown in the "ecosystem" of what the Holy Spirit is busy accomplishing in the Earth today.
So I believe God wants us to know and be reminded that our purpose is important, that it must be nurtured, cherished and never to be underestimated.
