When it comes to the value of a painting, a few of the major influences in the price is the quality of the painting, the reputation of the artist and the sentimental value someone places on it. For the most part the canvas (paper) used is generally very similar to any other, the same could be said for the quality and variety of the brushes and paint. The point I'm trying to make is that, when it comes to determining the value of the painting, there's nothing overly significant about the raw materials that influences the price but rather how much someone is willing to pay for it. Similarly, there's nothing significant that sets us apart from others. What influences our worth as human beings is the fact that our value has already been determined by our Creator.
He valued our lives so much that He purchased us with the precious blood of Christ (Matthew 20:28, 1 Peter 1:18,19). A price that no one can match!
I don't know what value your parents, school teachers, spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, family members or friends may have placed on you. I don't know what pain, hurt or rejection they may have caused you - or - how much they believed in you and invested into your life ... But I can tell you that no matter what your past may have looked like or what you may have believed about yourself, there remains Someone out there who loves you and who gave His life for you. His name is Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17, 1 John 4:9-10, Romans 5:8) and because of this, your value has been determined! (not based on what others may have said or did not say, not even based on what you may have said about yourself). Your value is based on what He's done for you! On how He sees you! And what He says about you!

See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God!
The question is, do you believe it?
... because:
He values us so much that He knows how many hairs are on our head (Matthew 10:29-31)
He knows our name, surname and where we stay (see example in Acts 10:1-8, 17-18 where the angel tells the centurion where to find Simon Peter)
He values us so much that He's chosen to ALWAYS be by our side (Hebrews 13:5, Matthew 28:20, Joshua 1:9)
He values us so much that He's prepared to listen to us (Jeremiah 29:12-13, 1 Peter 3:12, 1 John 5:15) to comfort us (2 Corinthians 1:3), to help us (Isaiah 41:10), to provide for us (Matthew 6:31-33), to heal us (Psalm 103:2-4; Matthew 4:23), to forgive us (1 John 1:9), to give our lives purpose (Ephesians 2:10) and direction (Proverbs 3:5-6) ... The list goes on ... We see by these examples just how much God values us! ... and all He's asking us to do is believe it.
Can you believe today that God sees you as valuable, that He loves you, that He cares about you?
Can you come before Him in sincere and transparent prayer, trusting in Him to take care of you?
Can you believe today that by your faith in His love towards you, that He will come through for you?
Let's be encouraged to do so today my friend ... He wants us to! (Hebrews 4:16, 1 Peter 5:7, Matthew 11:28)
