I believe that one of the ways this entire planet can be reached is if everyone did their share – and it starts with the apostles, prophets, etc. all being in their rightful place, and He brought to my attention that the Bible says all 5 is needed to edify the saints– meaning all 5 is needed if everyone is going to do the work of the ministry – meaning all 5 is needed if we want to see the rest of those versus come to pass!
But that’s where it starts (which is something we must pray for) – then it trickles down to the rest of the body … I told myself that what I’m busy doing with the emails, sms’, letters, etc. is only a fraction of what’s required to reach someone as a whole – because if someone wants to grow spiritually into the fullness of all that God has for them -> then every individual needs an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher, Pastor, in some way or another – then they need a cell/small group leader, someone to disciple them, someone to pray with them, someone to greet them at the door, someone to usher them at church, someone to serve them at the book table, someone to serve them at the bible school counter, someone to put the songs on the screen for them, someone to send them emails, someone to text them, someone to send them letters, someone to send them a word when they need it, someone to be their friend, someone that’ll walk with them and be there for them, someone’s life they can sow into someone to mentor them, etc. … now God desires to use everyone in the body (world-wide), to perform a specific function for Him – in order to see an individual live an become all that He intends them to become.
Because without all the parts in place - it leaves a gap somewhere … meaning somewhere in the body a specific function cannot be performed (and when I say “function”, I don’t mean necessarily a function in the running of a church; like the media team, ushering, etc. – I mean anything relating to what God has specifically called that person to do and be involved with) – which results in a particular soul not been effectively reached and trained and equipped, etc. (somewhere, something will be incomplete in that believer’s life – because all the needs haven’t been met)… resulting in that person not fulfilling all that God intends for them and of them … causing a domino effect
