An athlete shouldn’t have to compare himself to another, or think that what he/she does is less significant to another – for the coach requires all his athletes to be in their rightful place and fulfill their event in order to come home with the most number of medals. Likewise in God’s Kingdom, we too should never compare ourselves with other Christians and what they’re busy doing for God. For God requires all His “athletes” to be in their rightful place and fulfill their calling in order to reach everyone one on this planet with the gospel of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 12 4  There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit . 5  There are differences of ministries , but the same Lord . 6  And there are diversities of activities , but it is the same God who works all in all ... 11  But one and the same Spirit works all these things , distributing to each one individually as He wills . 12  For as the body is one and has many members, bu...

A coach should be able to identify which training facilities are best for their athlete. Also know which races are best suited for them. They should also know under which conditions their athlete would excel the most … in this same manner God also knows where He wants you: where you’d be able to train the best (the right church for you) – which races (tasks) are best suited for you – and under which conditions you’d excel the most (the right place or environment in which He wants you. i.e. work, college, living conditions, place of residents , city to live in, etc.) – for where you’d excel the most in your event (calling) Acts 16 6  Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia . (let’s say you’ve identified what your calling is; and now have good intentions and good ideas to reach people with the gospel using your specific gifting, just like Paul did by wanting to preach in Asia – yet ...

So praying for people to find their rightful place in the body, starting with the 5 fold ministry, is evidently - of utmost importance … I know I sent messages out on how prayer played a role in revival (which is true) – because prayer can bring about what we seek and what is needed … but for us that now know this, it means we need to prayerfully seek our rightful place in the body. No good ideas, or pressure, or needs should replace or get in the way of what God has specifically called someone to do … one of the reasons people are involved everywhere in the body is because of a need – but I wonder if they believe God told them to be there – I wonder if there’s a grace to do what they do – if there’s an anointing to do what they do – if they enjoy what they do – if there’s a passion to do what they do … sometimes we need to take a back seat and re-evaluate why we do what we do. Because if we have 100% capacity to function with – and then divide that up in 10 different areas –...

I believe that one of the ways this entire planet can be reached is if everyone did their share – and it starts with the apostles, prophets, etc. all being in their rightful place, and He brought to my attention that the Bible says all 5 is needed to edify the saints– meaning all 5 is needed if everyone is going to do the work of the ministry – meaning all 5 is needed if we want to see the rest of those versus come to pass! But that’s where it starts (which is something we must pray for) – then it trickles down to the rest of the body … I told myself that what I’m busy doing with the emails, sms’, letters, etc. is only a fraction of what’s required to reach someone as a whole – because if someone wants to grow spiritually into the fullness of all that God has for them -> then every individual needs an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher, Pastor, in some way or another – then they need a cell/small group leader, someone to disciple them, someone to pray with them, someone to ...

The coach knows which player is best suited to play in a particular position. He knows the strengths, weaknesses and abilities of that player – and knows exactly where to use them in his team in order to win the gold medal. But apart from that – it then becomes each players responsibility to work as a team, carrying out their coaches instructions, if they want to succeed and win that medal. And likewise in the body of Christ; God knows which individual is best suited for a particular function in the Body, He knows exactly where He wants to use them in order to bring glory to His Name and reach others with the gospel. And it’s then also true that even though we can know which “event” we’re meant to be doing; and have all the coaches (God’s) instructions; it then becomes our responsibility as the body to work together to carry out those instructions if we want to succeed at reaching people with the gospel. About 2 weeks ago on a Friday night, I was in a state of despair...

A coach should be able to identify where their athlete is at and then prepare/train them for their future.  The coach would identify the potential within their athlete and then train them accordingly; knowing they’re not ready for the professionals in their current condition, but will train them one step at a time - developing them, preparing them, always pushing the bar higher, always looking to increase and push their athlete to be better - so that they’ll be able to perform their best at their event! In the same way God also prepares/trains us for where He wants to take us and use us – He knows how you need to be in the future in order to do what He’s called you to do – so He reveals things to us that requires change in our lives – things He wants us to pay attention to – things we need to start doing – things we need to stop doing – books we need to read – priorities that need shifting – time that needs to be spent with Him – people we need to be ministering to – frie...

Olympics - 1

Hi everyone One of the reasons people show a lack of interest in what they’re doing is perhaps because they’re doing something they were never created or destined to do … in the Olympic games you’ll find that athletes specialise in a particular event. There’s one particular event they pay attention to – one particular event they invest money into to be better at it – one particular event they put time into more than others – one particular event they diet and train for … one particular event they excel in more than others. Now I’m sure most athletes are versatile in that they can do more than one event and probably play more than one sport; however there’s still that one particular event that they excel in more than any other, and one of the reasons for that is because they’ve discovered that event, embraced that event and invested time and effort into that event – causing them to excel at it. Once you’ve discovered it, you begin to focus solely on that event – you don’t ...
