Reflecting on 2019 - Part 3

Good day As we look back on this past year, we can thank God that even if we didn't get to where we'd hope to be or do all the things we set out to accomplish, one thing we can be sure of is that God has been faithful to us and carried us through all the same! It's a good time of the year to reflect back with a grateful heart and be thankful for all those little things we so easily overlook and often take for granted. For example: We can thank God we have family that is there to love and support us. Thank God for an income that has been able to sustain us throughout the year. Thank God for health, For a roof over our heads, for running water and electricity, For the luxury of having to purchase food, clothing and shoes. Thank God for friends to cherish and enjoy special moments with. Thank God for protecting our loved ones. Thank God for a church we could attend without any threat of been attacked or persecuted. Thank God that the gosp...

Reflecting on 2019 - Part 2

(Continued) God created everything by the power of His word: (Hebrews 11:3) Colossians 1:16-17, For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth , visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him . As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come do...

Reflecting on 2019 - Part 1

Good day I believe God wants you to know that He isn't limited by time. We use time to measure hours, days, weeks, months, years, etc. We set goals for our lives and plan according to time. We even use time as a gauge to determine whether or not we've reached a certain level of success and this can dampen our mood or cause us to become discouraged or even depressed.  But the thing about time is that it's just a number ... 2019 is a number on a calendar and God is not limited by the time constraints placed on us by a calendar! Jesus said Heaven and Earth will pass away (meaning that what we see around us in the natural will pass away) but that His words will never pass away (Luke 21:33). His words are eternal and not subject to time!  It's not like God's word works on a Monday and then it doesn't on a Tuesday; like God is only available in the morning and not in the evening; like what God did in 2017 He's unable to do in 2020. The s...
